Hafizah Class

The Qur'an is the basis of our religion and its preservation and propagation Depends on the very existence of our Faith. Hence, the virtue of learning the Qur'an is self-evident.

Course Details:

The Hafizah Course is run from Monday to Friday. Classes commence from 8.30 am til 11.00 am.

Requirements:

Enrolling students are required to be fluent in reciting the Qur'an with sufficient knowledge of Tajweed. Students who are aged between sixteen and twenty-two can only be enrolled in the Hafizah Course.

Candidates are also required to be able to memorise.

Course Outline:

This course consists of three main factors:

1. Sabak - [Memorisation of set text] 2. Sabak Para - [Revision of current Juz] 3. Dor - [Revision of memorised Ajzaa]

Students begin by memorising set amount of verses (Ayaat) everyday, which is gradually increased in accordance to the ability of the student.

Rules and Regulations:

All Hafizah class students are required to adhere to the following progression requirement depending on the amount of Juz/Ajzaa they have memorised. If the following progression is acquired then Hifz will be completed in approximately four years (taking holidays into consideration)

Sabaq per Day: 12-14 Lines / One Side Minimum Hifz Requirement Per Year: 6 Ajzaa

All admissions will initially be on a three to six months trial basis.
