Jame'ah: Introduction
Jame'ah Uloomul Qur'an was established in 1977 (1397AH) under the patronage of Shaykh Maulana Adam Sahib and has now flourished to cater for the wider needs of the Muslim community
Jame'ah Uloomul Qur'an, the name given to the educational institute of Jame'ah, consisted of only a handful of students in its primary years. It has, Alhumdulillah, with the support of the community, expanded to cater for a range of educational needs for the Muslim community.
The Maktab section caters for boys and girls from the age of five up to the age of sixteen. These classes are held in the evening and also consists of Hifdh classes where every effort is placed on the children to support their memorisation of the Holy Qur'an.
At the same time, the Jame'ah also caters for the needs of children who wish to acquire further education thorugh the means of the day-time Darul Uloom. This allows students, above the age of sixteen, to study the 'Ilmiyyah course and acquire indepth knowledge of the various Islamic principles and sciences. Within the syllabus of the 'Ilmiyyah course there are also a number of academic subjects being studied at various levels.
The Jame'ah Girl's Academy is also a branch of the educational institutes provided under the umbrella of Jame'ah Uloomul Qur'an. The girls' school allows students to study a dual curriculum and thereby completing their academic studies whilst also completing the 'Ilmiyyah course or the Hifdh Course
